Our new 60 site addition opened up on Saturday, April 14th and we have already had several move into the new section! Our new section is gated 24 hours a day with paved sites, manicured grass, and full hook ups for all of your long term or weekend needs! The new section has been designed primarily for Full Time campers however, we will use any existing available sites for over flow on busy event or holiday weekends. If you are looking to go full time, this section is just what you are looking for. Our bath house has not yet been opened in the new section but will be shortly and the long term plan is to add an additional laundry facility in the bathhouse building as well. Please come and check out our new addition!
More improvements are being made at Flamingo Lake RV Resort! In addition to our expansion that is going on, we are making improvements in our rental facilities as well. We just finished a major remodel of our kitchen in the Rec Center including new floors, cabinets, counters, modern appliances and we added a “pass through” opening to assist in getting things to and from the kitchen area. The Rec Center is available for rent to hold your weddings, receptions, reunions, business meetings, rally group outings, and much more. Contact our Activities Director, Mike Vance @ firstname.lastname@example.org for details!
The ground has been broken on our expansion project. We are currently completing the retention ponds that need to be placed in our property adjacent to the park and we will then begin the process of adding 50+ additional sites as well as paving our storage area. Exciting times at Flamingo Lake RV Resort!! We are growing in order to better serve you!!
To all our camping community:
We at Flamingo Lake feel privileged to have you stay at our campground and are committed to not only providing you and your family with a fun and pleasant camping experience, but also with a safe one where our staff is here to be of assistance. In this regard, we thought you would be interested in how we handled Hurricane Matthew which threatened our campground and campers October 6th – October 9th, 2016. Please take some time to read about how we worked to ensure our guests and their property before, during, & after the event as well as making sure they had a safe environment to return to when the storm was past us.
